Bernard Langlais, artist and sculptor of Cushing, Maine created many peices of work in driftwiid, scrap wood as well as models in 3 dimensions. His work appears in museums all over the country, as well as statues and fountain structures for hotels and towns. Outside his home here there were several large figures including a football player nearest the house.
