Sardines
Four men in a dory have hauled a full purse seine net at Greenland Cove in Bremen, Maine, in June 1962. They reported a catch of 60,000 bushels. The sardines were transferred by a large vacuum hose to the larger boat, a sardine carrier, and delivered to a nearby cannery.
