Rockport Apprentice Shop
On launch day, May 24, 1986, three sailing craft of different styles were handled by apprentices of the Rockport Apprenticeshop in Rockport Harbor. The non-profit wooden boat school operated in Rockport, Maine, from 1982 to 1992. It was founded in Bath, Maine, in 1972. From 1992-1995 it was in Nobleboro and in 1995 moved to Rockland, Maine, where it continues in its 50th year in 2022.
