Rockport Apprentice Shop
Several small wooden boats are under construction in the Rockport Apprenticeshop. Ten to fifteen apprentices are working in a 2-year course. Shorter programs are also offered. The non-profit wooden boat school operated in Rockport, Maine, from 1982 to 1992. It was founded in Bath, Maine, in 1972. From 1992-1995 it was in Nobleboro and in 1995 moved to Rockland, Maine, where it continues in its 50th year in 2022.
