PURSUIT
The 78 ft. fishing vessel PURSUIT was christened Sept. 4, 1982, at the Washburn & Doughty shipyard in East Boothbay, Maine, by Mrs. Carl Pianka, assisted by Bruce Doughty. Built for Capt. Ron Woodbury, one of the investors in the newly-formed New Meadows Trawlers, Inc., PURSUIT was intended for scalloping with a crew of 12, working from Bath, Maine. She was designed by Washburn & Doughty with a beam of 21 ft. 3 inches and draft of 11 feet.
