LINDA
The 95 ft. steel dragger LINDA was christened with a celebration July 2, 1981 at the Washburn & Doughty shipyard in East Boothbay, Maine. The owner, Salvatore Patanis of Revere, MA, named her for his daughter. The boat was designed by John W. Gilbert Assoc. with a 24' 7" beam and a 13' 6" draft. In this photo the new boat, still on a cradle, looms behind some of the guests prior to its launch.
