J. & E. RIGGIN -May 5, 1977 - a ship built in 1927 at the Charles H. Stowman Shipyard of Dorchester, N.J. - restored beginning in 1975 by North End Shipyard of Rockland, Maine. Dave and Sue Allen, both natives of Maine, are owners and lead the restoration project. Shown here working at the North End Yard is Tim Holloway of Moncton, Vt. painting and staining the 73' main mast to make aspruce mast look like the Oregon fir one.
