J. & E. RIGGIN - July 3, 1984 - In Penobscot River, Maine. Owner and skipper , Dave Allen. Built originally by the Charles H. Stowman Yard in Dorchester, N.J. in 1927 as an oyster fleet ship - restored by the North End Shipyard of Rockland, Maine starting in 1975. The J. & E. RIGGIN has an overall length of 88' 7".
