Peter Kass Boats
This box contains extensive materials about Peter Kass and his history as a builder of wooden boats. Most of his boats have a file of their own, though many are also covered in this collection. At John's Bay Boat Co. in South Bristol, Maine, builder Peter Kass (on right) and boat owner John Golter of Portsmouth, NH, display some models for commercial boats. Kass was building the 42 ft. SHARON ROSEANNE for Golter. The models were designed by Carroll Lowell of Yarmouth. This photo is from June 1986.
