Schooner VICTORY CHIMES

A hand-carved eagle was applied to the stern of the schooner VICTORY CHIMES shortly before she sailed from Rockland, Maine, with new owners in October 1985. Pictured at work are Chris Feiss of Portland, Maine, and Charles Cutter of Weston, MA, former 2nd mate of the windjammer. Cutter was the grandson of Capt. Boyd Guild, who owner the ship for 31 years.
