Schooner VICTORY CHIMES
VICTORY CHIMES, the great 3-masted schooner, was sold in the fall of 1985 to two men from Minnesota. Two of the new crew members were Kent McDonald and Mac Welles from Duluth, Minn. Welles owned the 60' schooner TAMIRA. McDonald was a recent college graduate. VICTORY CHIMES sailed in October 1985 from Rockland to Florida and was expected to be on the Great Lakes the following summer.
