TAPPAN

TAPPAN, a 35 ft. wooden lobster boat, was built in Edward "Buddy" Poland 's shop at Round Pond, Maine, for his 20 year old son Frank. Fred Tappan was one of the principal builders and the boat was named in his honor. Here is the new boat underway at slow speed shortly after her launch May 27, 1979.
