SUSAN A
David Autio, fisherman from Medomack, Maine, bought a new boat in 1978. He had been working with a 32 ft. wood boat for 9 years. Moving with the latest trend, he took delivery in March of the fiberglass hulled SUSAN A from the Rockland Boat Shop. With a 42 feet length , a beam of 13 feet 8 inches, and draw of 4 feet, the SUSAN A was named for Autio's daughter. It was equipped for lobstering and dragging.
