Dorothy Greenlees christened SIMBA, June 28, 1980. SIMBA is a 48 ft. 6 in. cruising yacht built at Luke's Boatyard in East Boothbay, Maine. Paul E. Luke ran this yard from 1938 until he retired in 1994. He became a specialist in aluminum hulls and specialty hardware. The yard was continued by his sons. SIMBA was headed for a new home in Rye, NY.
