SEA FEVER
Some of the crew at G. I. Hodgdon Co., East Boothbay, Maine, in December 1971, are (l-r): George "Sonny" Hodgdon, Neil James, Tom Sewell, and Freeman Dodge. Hodgden opened this new shipyard at his home and specialized in building wooden lobster boats. He left his family's famous yard, also in East Boothbay, where yachts, sailing ships, and large boats had been built for nearly 200 years. SEA FEVER was the first project of the new yard.
