Rockport Apprentice Shop

ROBERT H. BAKER, a newly built 20 ft. gaff-rigged skiff, is pictured on the ways before launch August 7, 1985. She was built by students at the Rockport Apprenticeshop, Rockport, Maine. The non-profit wooden boat school operated in Rockport, Maine, from 1982 to 1992. It was founded in Bath, Maine, in 1972. From 1992-1995 it was in Nobleboro and in 1995 moved to Rockland, Maine, where it continues in its 50th year in 2022.
