PROVINCETOWN

The 135 ft. passenger ship PROVINCETOWN was launched April 5, 1973, at the Harvey F. Gamage yard in South Bristol, Maine. Leaving the boat shed empty, she can be seen in the water for the first time without a pilot house and two staterooms, which were added later. Later that year she began daily trips from Boston to Provincetown with up to 600 passengers for the Bay State-Spray & Provicetown Steamship Co., Inc., of Boston.
