PROUD MARY

This the moment when PROUD MARY hit the water for the first time with its owners aboard. Eugene Kral, Sr. is in the stern and Eugene Kral, Jr. is on the bow. Built at Atlantic Boat Works from a George Stadel, Jr., design. PROUD MARY had a length of 43 feet 10 inches, beam of 13 feet 4 inches and draft of 5 feet 11 1/2 inches. The 4 ton keel of poured lead supported the extra heavy 1 and 3/4 inch thick Honduran mahognay planking.
