Sardine factories with boats at wharves in Lubec, Maine The house on the cliff above appears in photographs as far back as 1900 and, despite its precarious-appearing site, remains occupied as of 2010. John and Evelyn Barker lived there in the 1950s, Evelyn until about the end of the 20th Century. [included in the exhibit "Working Waterfronts"]
