USS CRAVEN DD-382
US Navy destroyer USS CRAVEN at MCRR Wharf, Rockland. Gridley class destroyer, the USS CRAVEN was launched February 1937 from the Bethlehem Steel Co.’s Quincy MA shipyard, commissioned in Sept., departed Norfolk August 1938. In the Pacific until 1945, when she sailed out of Portland in June for the Mediterranean.
