Launching of 70’ dragger HELEN MAE II built at Rockland Boat Shop by Axel Gronros, 1942. "I think the builder of record may have been Rockland Boat Shop which was owned by Axel Gronros and later by his son Sulo. George Ross of Owls Head owned this dragger, which was one of our favorites. George’s wife Annie was my third grade teacher."
