Schooner THEOLINE alongside wharf. Many small boats in foreground. Off loading coal at the P & G Willey wharf in Camden. Four masted schooner THEOLINE, launched September 1917 from the Francis Cobb yard in Rockland. Vessel started as the ALLAN but renamed after sale whilst building. LOA 184’. Coal carrier, foundered near Panama 1942. "In 1934, it was owned by CA and BF Small Corp, home port of NYC, and was later owned by Intercontinental Steamship Lines, Inc (up to the time it sank, insured by Bankers Commercial Corporation). At one time its captain was a John Latty and wintered in Norwood Cove at Southwest Harbor, Maine." -- Tim Sullivan 2012 [included in the "Elmer Montgomery" exhibit]
