Dory with bottom planked and first starboard strake hung.

Dory with bottom planked and first starboard strake hung. First in a series of six images of an 18 foot Cushing Dory under construction at Rockland's Apprentice Shop in September and October 1997. This shop was in former 5&10 on Main Street, now replaced by a Farnsworth Museum building. Dory was built from a Killeran model owned by Cushing's Andrew Wyeth. Instructor is Bob Lane. It was used by clammers. note: series is LB2013.21.1988 - 1993
