Schooner-2 PLYMOUTH ROCK wrecked at Provincetown, Mass. on April 11, 1888. According to U.S. Light Saving Sevice Annual Report, she had grounded on Peaked Hill Bars, and begin to break up. Crew was taken off by USLSS boat. At next high tide, she floated free of bar, and was blown onto the beach, where she finally broke up. Note remains of deckload of lumber. Most of cargo was salvaged. Claes caption says wood structures in foregound are 'the bones' of schooner-3 HANNAH E.
