Rockland Hunters - 1899 In this photo one can see three hunters and the numerous game birds they have shot strung on the wheels and seat of the buggy upon which two of the hunters are sitting holding their shotguns. The two hunters appear to be Charles Wilson and B. Thorndike. Also seen in this image on a bench at the rear of the buggy is the third hunter that appears to be Charles Coombs, with his shotgun laying across his chest. Also present are three hunting dogs; two in the buggy and one on the ground in front of the buggy.There is a reference to a Mahoney house in Lincolnville attached to LB2000.52.482 which is the same building as in this photo.
