Harbor from Bridge
View of the Belfast waterfront from the east side approach to the lower bridge (note the advertisement for, one assumes, trousers on the bridge railing): One can see numerous 2 and 3 masted schooners either anchored or tied up at one of the numerous wharves. From left to right one can see the buildings on what is probably Lane's Wharf and Cooper's Wharf. The building with the gambrel roof is the Dana's Sarsaparilla building and to its right, the large bu8lding with the tower is the old shoe factory. In the foreground below the factory you can see a two-masted schooner on the right and a three-masted schooner on the left with one of the smaller steamboats tied alongside the three masted schooner. They appear to be tied up at the Railroad Wharf.
