Charles Black House at 78 High St.in 1903 Charles Black appears to have moved to this house sometime between 1900 and 1903. Previously he lived at the old 43 High Street address. The house was built by Israel W. Parker, who also built the magnificent Crosby Inn, Belfast National Bank, and the Masonic Temple building. Black had a stove dealership in Store ? 1 in the Phoenix Block, at the current location of the Colonial Theatre (2016). The store burned in the June 12, 1887 Phoenix Block fire but was rebuilt.
