Saw Mill, East Side
The saw mill operated using power from the Goose River, up Swan Lake Avenue, then the Bangor Road. It was converted from an axe factory and owned by Elmer Irving Rankin. The Goose River also provided much necessary power to operate the Sherman & Co. leatherboard mills.
