Belfast Band on the Eastern Steamship Wharf BELFAST BAND HISTORY Performances by the Belfast Band were often outdoors in good weather. The Band's performances were a frequent event. The band had been formed in 1889 and by 1900 was acknowledged as one of the best municipal ensembles in the state.
