Cured fish on the wharf in Eastport. Dried pollock tied up in bundles, after drying on fish flakes. Caption in Atlantic Fisherman article in November of 1922 states: "Canadian Fisherman, Unaware of the passage of the New Tariff Schedule, Landed many thousands of pounds of cured pollock at Eastport on Which they were compelled to Pay Duty." The tariffs referred to are the Fordney tariff bill.
