Sardine packing plant of the E. A. Holmes Packing Company of Eastport. The plant with these three floors has 20,000 feet ( estimated) floor space. In addition to male help, 60 women packers are employed. The capacity of the plant is 1,500 cases of canned sardines daily. Four boats bring fish to the factory.
