Account book for supplying ship HEZEKIAH WILLIAMS in summer 1856.  Recorded by Witherle & Co., Castine, Maine, covering expenses for rigging and preparing the ship for sea including outfitting the ship with everything from tools and kitchen supplies to door mats and compasses.  Includes names of workmen and expenses for labor and insurance costs.  The ship was wrecked on returning from its first voyage in 1857 from England to Nova Scotia. Includes insert listing crew members, their stations, and wages.
