Steamboat J. T. MORSE

The big steamboat J. T. MORSE was part of the Eastern Steamship Co. and named for their treasurer, James Thomas Morse. She is pictured here at Crotch Island off Stonington, ME. Her route from 1904 to 1931 was Rockland, Maine, to Bar Harbor, with many stops along the way. In 1933 she was sold to a New York company.
