Highland Dancers 2
In this image two young women wearing kilts, vests and berets perform a Highland Dance to the sound of bagpipes while spectators and a games official look on. The sevent is a Highland dance compeition at the 1945 Scottish Festival put on by the Caledonian Club of Boston.
As he often did, Kosti shoots from a lower angle, casting the figures against the sky and elevating the sense of the moment.
