KINGS COUNTY
Bark KINGS COUNTY at Lumber and Rail Tie pier, Fernandina, Florida. The made up mast, looks like a 'spike' bowsprit.Launched at the shipyard of E. Cox, Kingsport, Nova Scotia in 1890. In 1911 she lost her mizzen mast and yards, which was replaced with a fore-and-aft rigged mast. The resulting rig was that of a four-masted "jackass" barque. In 1919she was stranded on the English Bank outside Montevideo and subsequently broken up at that city.
